Tsuruta Ramen
Spicy Tantanmen
2 more bowls at Tsuruta Ramen ↓Quick take
Came back to Tsuruta to explore beyond my first visit’s choices, and while the ramen still isn’t outstanding, this spicy tantanmen was a noticeable step up. The broth had good flavor and balance, though the toppings could use a boost. A solid improvement and still one of the most pleasant spots in town thanks to its friendly vibe and sleek design.

Tsuruta Ramen
Shoyu Duck Ramen
Another return to Tsuruta, this time for the shoyu duck ramen. The broth had more intensity than the tantanmen, though it lacked a bit of flavor complexity. The duck, however, was tender and flavorful—definitely the highlight of the bowl. Not a mind-blowing ramen, but certainly a satisfying and well-executed option in a very pleasant setting.

Tonkotsu Ramen
Beautiful location but the bowl didn’t quite deliver. The broth was light and lacked depth, and both the chashu and tamago were underwhelming. Noodles were decent, but overall it felt more like a gentle intro to ramen than the rich tonkotsu experience I was hoping for.
