Quick take

A solid and satisfying bowl overall. The chashu was firm but flavorful, which worked nicely with the broth. The noodles were on the thicker side, though I would have preferred them a bit firmer for a better bite. Tamago was well executed, and while nothing here completely steals the show, it’s a correct and enjoyable ramen.

Porco Rosso Ramen

Very similar to the Laputa ramen from the same shop, but with a different set of toppings. Instead of fried leek and scallions, this bowl comes with shiitake and bean sprouts. I actually enjoyed the broth slightly more in this version. I'm quite sure it's the same base broth, but the Laputa includes black garlic which hides some of the subtle nuances, while here the flavors come through more clearly.
