Quick take

One of the very few bowls of ramen I’ve ever left unfinished. I really didn't like it. This style uses rattan pepper, which gives your tongue a heavy, numbing sensation. Maybe it was too much numbing oil here, and it completely took over the whole dish. If you aren't used to that anesthetic feeling or prefer a traditional broth, definitely skip this one. Just wasn't for me.

Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen

A surprisingly solid and comforting bowl for an airport meal. The black garlic oil (mayu) adds a rich, deep, and aromatic layer to the pork broth that elevates the whole experience. The noodles were cooked well with a decent bite, holding up nicely against the savory soup. While the chashu and toppings felt a bit standard for a major chain, it’s a remarkably satisfying and flavorful option to fuel up before a flight.
