A fiery bowl that delivers intensity through its spiciness rather than just richness. The heat really packs a punch, making it a standout for those who enjoy bold flavors. The chashu was excellent—tender and flavorful—paired with a well-balanced tamago and solid noodles. The menma was top tier too. The restaurant itself is spacious and inviting, with friendly and attentive service. A great spot if you’re after a ramen that doesn’t hold back on spice.

Miso Ramen
A very solid miso ramen that delivered both balance and comfort. The broth had good depth without being overpowering, letting the flavors come through nicely. Chashu once again stood out as excellent, with well-prepared noodles and tamago rounding out the bowl. Another strong choice at Donburi Ramen, confirming the consistency of this spot.

Black Garlic Ramen
Unlike the fiery Shin Ramen, this bowl was all about depth and balance. The black garlic added a rich umami layer without overwhelming the broth, making it both flavorful and smooth. With tender, well-prepared chashu and nicely cooked noodles, it’s a more nuanced option that lets you fully appreciate the subtleties of the broth. A refined and satisfying choice in a welcoming setting.

Chicken Tantanmen Ramen
Tried their chicken tantanmen and found it lacking the sesame flavor and creaminess usually expected from this style. The broth still had some punch, but overall felt a bit underwhelming. That said, I’ve had worse tantanmen, and the excellent chashu, solid toppings, and friendly service kept the experience enjoyable.

Wagyu Ramen
Came back to try more options, and this one was a bit surprising. The wagyu topping was literally served as a burger patty, which felt unusual—interesting, but not something I’d go for again. I found sliced meat much more enjoyable to eat, whether it’s chashu or not. The broth was good, but a lot of the flavor seemed to settle at the bottom, so it needed a proper mix to really bring out its full intensity.
